Veridium - Hands on security

Veridium provides end-to-end biometrics-based authentication solutions for the financial services industry. Our solutions reduce or eliminate identity (user credentials) as a major attack vector by replacing passwords and PINs with biometric authentication.

Powered by an unmatched legacy of R&D, including multiple patents, Veridium's solutions can help banks increase security, reduce fraud, and cut the costs associated with password resets and traditional multifactor solutions (such as RSA tokens).

Mobile banking applications

Once our SDK has been embedded into your mobile banking applications, your customers will no longer have to remember passwords and PINs. Instead, they will authenticate with their biometrics - face, Touch ID, or our proprietary biometric 4 Fingers TouchlessID - to quickly and conveniently access their accounts in accordance with the bank's security policies.

Working in conjunction with our server-side protocol, this complete software solution is highly customisable based on your business rules and can be hosted in the bank's private cloud, putting you in complete control of user authentication. In addition, biometric matching can occur on the phone, making the deployment FIDO compliant, or on the server.

Multifactor biometric authentication

In light of the PSD2 regulations, Veridium offers a cost-effective solution for multifactor authentication. Our solutions combine what you know - your password - with what you have - your smartphone - and what you are - your biometrics.

Secure biometric login solutions for employees

Beyond mobile banking, VeridiumID can be used for biometric authentication throughout your organization to authorise access to desktops, employee apps, even doors and safes. And it works just by you being you.

VeridiumAD is an enterprise-ready solution that adds biometric authentication to Microsoft Active Directory environments. With VeridiumAD, you can replace password-based logins for your employees at workstations with multiple biometric options.

VeridiumAD also supports the use of biometrics as a replacement for 2FA tokens for logging on remotely through a VPN.

Contactless mobile fingerprint recognition

Facial recognition and mobile fingerprint sensors aren't the only biometric options with VeridiumID. Veridium has developed its own proprietary biometric called 4 Fingers TouchlessID. 4 Fingers uses the camera and flash standard with most smartphones to capture four prints at once, requiring no additional hardware, and it works under any lighting conditions.

Capturing 4 Fingers provides more detail than a single fingerprint and improved usability over facial recognition, while ensuring compatibility with any smartphone.

4 Fingers can be deployed to eliminate PINs at ATMs, helping to reduce skimming attacks. Customers can access their accounts without touching a keypad or swiping a card. It can also be used as an extra layer of security for authenticating high-value trades. Biometrics provides legal non-repudiation for every trade or transaction.

Veridium means verified identity

Identity is the claim you make to access information, but making a claim with a password doesn't prove who you are. Passwords only authorise access, but biometric authentication validates your identity. Only biometrics - your face, your voice, your fingerprints - prove you are who you say you are.

Put Veridium to the test. See what solution is right for your enterprise.
