Gartner recognizes Sungard Availability Services as a leader in Magic Quadrant for disaster recovery as a service

Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS), a leading provider of information availability through managed IT, Cloud and recovery services, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders' quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) published 21 April 2015.

Gartner evaluated 14 DRaaS providers for this year's Magic Quadrant. Service providers were evaluated on their ability to execute on criteria including product/service, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness/record, marketing execution, customer experience and operations, and completeness of vision. Sungard AS is positioned the furthest for both completeness of vision and ability to execute.
