BATS Global Markets (BATS), a global financial markets technology company, has announced that it is offering a web-based real-time display, giving members an access to detailed information about their connections to the BATS trading platform.

Reportedly, real-time information, available for ports in both the primary and secondary datacenters, includes open orders, rejects and TCP retransmission counts at the port level. It has added that the members can also view various connection details, default port attributes, graphs for various transaction statistics and counts specific to their firm as well as statistics may be viewed in intervals ranging from the last five minutes up to the entire current day.

The Missouri-based company has claimed that the new ports display also allows authorized members the capability to cancel all open orders at the port or firm level directly through the online interface. It has said that previously, members were required to submit order cancellation requests to the BATS exchange trade desk.

Chris Isaacson, COO for BATS Exchange, said: “The member dashboard brings transparency to the market in an area that was previously opaque.”
