The company will process KBC’s portfolio on its outsourced processing platform, dubbed as TS2, while the customer service support, dispute and chargeback handling and fraud and strategy management will be offered by its managed services EMEA.
Expressing his views on the deal, TSYS executive vice president Kelley Knutson said, "Debit is the fastest growing payment instrument in Europe and presents an opportunity for TSYS to bring its extensive experience to this sector."
Working with KBC will enable the company to gain a new customer as well as an opportunity to share best practices as the company grows together in the Irish payments market, Knutson added.
TSYS’ debit technology platform is part of its core business and can support all card processing needs along with value-added services.
