Georgia-based Global Payments said the iCT250 contactless POS terminal, built on Ingenico’s Telium2 platform, provides merchants with advanced features for processing cardholder payment transactions.

The iCT25 offers built-in contactless processing, vivid color screen and back-lit buttons for high visibility, added Global Payments.

Global Payments Canadian operations vice president product development and marketing Jeff McGuire said the iCT250 delivers state-of-the-art functions and security features that their merchants expect while providing an enhanced customer experience.

Ingenico Canada managing director David Chaudhari said that to be able to partner with Global Payments, a leading provider of Canadian electronic transaction processing services, is a significant opportunity for Ingenico in Canada as they begin to deliver Ingenico’s next generation Telium2 product line.

"We’re confident that these new solutions will deliver the highest level of functionality, reliability and security to their clients and further advance the standards within the Canadian payments industry overall," added Chaudhari.
