Siuslaw Financial Group (SFGP) purchased the family-owned company in January of 2002 from Ken and Donna Carter in order to provide investment services to its clients. Charlene Carter recently made an offer to SFGP to repurchase the company and again make it a family-owned operation.
According to Johan Mehlum, chairman of the board and CEO of Siuslaw Financial Group, both companies feel the arrangement is in the best interest of their clients and will continue with a revenue-sharing program. Carter & Carter Financial has relocated and is open for business at 750 Goodpasture Island Road.
