The card, which also offers a year-long introductory rate of 0% APR on Sainsbury’s purchases, provides Nectar points equivalent to 2% cash-back in Sainsbury’s. Points can be earned against purchases in-store including clothing, electrical appliances and groceries and also online at Sainsbury’s To You and in Sainsbury’s petrol filling stations.
Donald MacLeod, head of cards at Sainsbury’s, said: Only 21% of cards including the Sainsbury’s Card, offers 0% on balance transfers for 12 months or more, an interest free period on purchases and a reward scheme.
