Under the agreement, RBC Dexia will offer trustee, custody, fund administration, financial reporting, distribution support and shareholder services for Tensor Fund.
EMS Capital CFO Kevin Barrett said they want a service partner with on-the-ground capabilities and a network of key contacts to help get their UCITS fund noticed and on the shelf in key geographies.
"RBC Dexia’s demonstrated thought leadership in distribution support and global distribution trends was a significant differentiator from the other firms competing for their business," Barrett said.
The prospect of increased regulation and demand for transparency is increasing the attractiveness of tax efficient, well-regulated, established offshore centers such as Dublin and Luxembourg. RBC Dexia has operating centers in both jurisdictions.
