Streten will succeed Paul Beiboer, who has been promoted as general manager of London branch and regional head of wholesale banking Europe.

Having 15 years of corporate banking experience, Streten was acting as general manager for corporate banking, prior to accepting the current job.

Rabobank Australia and New Zealand CEO Thos Gieskes said, "We are confident Phil will replicate the impressive and sustainable growth, that has been achieved under his leadership in the Corporate Banking division, in the other wholesale business areas of the bank."

He has also been selected as a member of Rabobank Australia and New Zealand’s executive committee and manages the bank’s overall wholesale operations in both countries.
