The new service will provide consumers more choice and convenience when paying for work done in home.

As part of its growth strategy, the UK firm along with Payatrader also introduced a new online payment button for consumers to help locate, engage, review and pay local tradesmen.

TrustATrader entrepreneur and managing director Gary McEwen said the service makes it easier for members to accept card payments and to give their customers more choice and greater flexibility when paying for larger jobs or more expensive work.

Payatrader.com managing director Bill Thomson added, "Over the coming months we will continue to work with the TrustATrader team to develop the consumer messaging and ensure we achieve the best possible take up and use of the service."

Payatrader also caters for various business types from start-ups to established companies looking to reduce costs or for greater payment functionality, flexibility & control.
