Bahrain Credit in collaboration with MasterCard Worldwide has launched a credit card program known as the Imtiaz MasterCard credit card in Bahrain, reported AME Info. Bahrain Credit, the brand name under which Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company B.S.C. (BCFC) conducts its lending business, has chosen to partner with Global Payment Services (GPS) of Bahrain, a third party payment processing provider in the region, to carry out transaction processing for it.

Imtiaz MasterCard cardholders will have access to over 29.4m MasterCard acceptance locations worldwide and over 1.5m ATMs. Bahrain Credit said that there would be no annual fees associated with the card program and the card comes with free purchase protection insurance from Chartis Takaful Enaya and a range of other benefits more commonly associated with a premium credit card.
