Bank of America has named Steven Alch as the market president for Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, Mr. Alch will serve as the senior Bank of America leader in the Chattanooga market.

Mr. Alch will work to identify opportunities for growing revenue in the region and lead the team that delivers the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy locally, including overseeing philanthropic grants, community development lending and investing activities, volunteerism and other community engagement activities.

In addition to his new role, he is the Tennessee Valley Complex director for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. In this role, he manages financial advisor teams serving clients across eastern Tennessee and northern Alabama.

Mr. Alch joined Merrill Lynch in 2001 as a sales manager in Baltimore, Maryland. He also served as associate director in Tampa, Florida, before his 2007 promotion to complex director. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the Tennessee Multi-Cultural Chamber of Commerce.
