Calyon, the corporate and investment banking arm of the France-based Credit Agricole group and EDF Trading, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF, have appointed Martin Kreuzberg and Steven Lewis to its new trading partnership.

Mr. Kreuzberg has been appointed as managing director and is responsible for the overall day to day activities of the new business. He will report to the supervisory committee of the joint-venture and will be based at Calyon’s offices in London. He joins from EDF Trading where he was general manager, origination.

Steven Lewis has been appointed as head of trading and will be responsible for all trading activities for the new business. Mr. Lewis will report to Martin Kreuzberg and will also be based at Calyon’s offices in London. Between 2001 and 2004, Mr. Lewis was head of trading at EDF Trading. He also spent 17 years at Louis Dreyfus in a number of roles including head of trading for the Duke Louis Dreyfus joint-venture.
