Sound Cash Global Solutions has launched Avianca Cash Reloadable Visa Prepaid Card program. The Avianca Cash Visa Prepaid Card is a general spend stored value card issued in the US by Metabank pursuant to a license from Visa (USA), with Sound Cash as program manager.
Reportedly, the card has a feature set that includes mobile account management, Avianca Plus miles, PIN-less international LD, international remittances and other card benefits.
Jesus Pacheco, managing director of Sound Cash, said: “With the Avianca and Denarii team, we offer a payment tool tailored for the immigrant communities served by Avianca in the US.”
Gerardo Grajales, CFO of Avianca, said: “With the Avianca Cash card, Sound Cash is delivering a financial product that fills a huge demand from our customers traveling to, and living in, the US.”
Sound Cash is a Miami-based joint venture company formed between Avianca and Denarii. It delivers stored value card programs to mobile banking platforms for the airline industry.
