EDS Credit Union, a Texas-based credit union, has launched ‘The Arrival Guide’, a microsite designed to help young professionals plan and prepare for their financial future. The site is scheduled to go live by August 24.
Reportedly, ‘The Arrival Guide’ contains a collection of smaller guides designed to aid young professionals in decision-making in five areas, that include: first-time home buying, new additions to the family, new car purchases, budgeting and investing. It has added that each topic includes a set of questions. Moreover, a research page features a calculator to gauge the financial impact of large purchases; a glossary of financial terms to help young professionals; links to the EDS Credit Union newsletter; videos providing financial tips; and links to helpful resources. The site will also include a forum to exchange information and discuss financial issues.
The credit union claimed that the ‘The Arrival Guide’ is a part of marketing campaign developed by Dallas-based marketing firm, CultureLab.
Diane Gerstner, EVP and COO of EDS Credit Union, said: “Our goal is to use ‘The Arrival Guide’ as a supportive tool to not only address the specific financial needs of young professionals, but also present credit unions as a smart choice to help meet them.”
