This new full-service branch continues the Bank’s planned expansion of its branch network, bringing the total number of branches in the metropolitan area to nineteen. This will be the Bank’s second branch located in Manhattan and will provide enhanced access for the Bank’s business and personal customers who work or live in Manhattan. The announcement was made by John R. Buran, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Buran stated: "We are excited to expand upon our success in Manhattan. This branch will showcase a new branch model that will combine innovative technology with highly trained people to provide a superior customer experience.
"We recognize the role of the branch is changing and we must adapt to stay current with the evolving trends. The establishment of a branch at 99 Park Avenue will provide us with an opportunity to add the convenience of full-service banking and deliver financial services to all of the individuals and businesses located in the 99 Park Avenue building and the surrounding areas.
