Bernard will brings over 20 years of fixed income experience to the new role. She will join the firm from Liquid Capital Securities, where she was head of European credit sales.

Previously, Bernard spent five years at Dresdner Kleinwort as head of credit sales for France and Benelux. Prior to this, she served for 17 years at Calyon where she held a variety of fixed income sales positions.

The appointment follows the hiring of Alessandra Frontini and Michela Molendi, who joined Jefferies’ European credit sales and trading group as senior vice presidents based in the firm’s Milan office.

Frontini, who has more than 11 years of fixed income sales experience, joined from Morgan Stanley, where she spent five years and was an executive director for credit sales.

Molendi has more than 14 years of fixed income sales experience, including seven years at Dresdner Kleinwort.
