FIS claims that its software will provide Pivotal Payments with real-time access to data, resulting in faster response times and tougher fraud protection measures.
In addition, the scalable platform will allow Pivotal Payments to further tailor their services to meet the needs of their partners and merchants.
FIS said it will work collaboratively with Pivotal Payments as host and operator of the HD3 processing solution through a facilities management arrangement.
Pivotal Payments president and CEO Philip Fayer said FIS’ EFT software solutions combined with Pivotal’s internal systems will create the HD3 clearing, settlement and accounting platform.
"This combination will cement Pivotal Payments as one of the few merchant processors with a fully integrated North American back-end and back-office processing solution," Fayer said.
