Part of a larger payment automation initiative, the project is projected to go into production late in the second quarter.

Lombard Odier technical architect Sebastien Seymarc said in planning this initiative, they looked for integration technology that would both perform flawlessly in their payments network and insulate their legacy systems from changes.

"Our previous experience with Volante in SWIFT messaging transformations was so positive that it was a natural choice to work with Volante again in this initiative," Seymarc added.

Volante said it is developing a SIC plug-in for the project, which will be used with Volante Composer integration software, providing built-in dictionaries and automated validations for the SIC network.
