Pollock will report directly to Bill Butt, global head of investment and Peter Myers, Canadian head of investment and Corporate Banking and will also work closely with Perry Hoffmeister, US head of investment and Corporate Banking.
Pollock replaces Surjit Rajpal, who has recently been named deputy head of Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management, and who will become chief risk officer for BMO Financial Group in March.
Pollock joined BMO Capital Markets in 1984. He spent 19 years in the company’s corporate finance and project finance groups where he had responsibility for many large financings and leveraged buyouts. Since 2003, Pollock has led the Canadian loan products business with a team of over 40 professionals in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and the UK.
Phil Lunn will replace Pollock as head of loan products, Canada. Lunn joined BMO Capital Markets in March 2000 and has more than 25 years of investment and corporate banking experience covering a variety of companies and industries.
