American Express said that the new cards issued by BES will be designed to meet the financial requirements.
As per the deal, BES will be responsible for creating the products, issuing the cards, overseeing credit management and managing the customer accounts.
Through this partnership, BES will offer its customers access to a new range of compelling offers and services.
BES, with total assets of EUR102bn, is present in 23 countries on four continents and has 2.1 million customers and 803 branches, with 702 branches in Portugal.
American Express’ principal products and services are charge and credit payment card products and travel-related services offered to consumers and businesses around the world.
