In his new leadership role, Lukyanov will work alongside ACI’s existing team to focus on building and reinforcing relationships with customers, partners and governments in the region.

ACI Worldwide (EMEA) SVP and managing director Paul Thomalla said Lukyanov has strong relationships with many of the organisations in the Russia and CIS region combined with payments experience which will help the company’s growth in the region.

Lukyanov said ACI will support current and future customers in Russia and CIS by real benefits and cost savings to financial institutions and their customers.

Prior to his appointment, Lukyanov served as BPC Group deputy CEO for sales and marketing. He also worked as deputy general director for visa and MasterCard projects at JSC Cardcentre and then at URALSIB Bank.

He also worked for Card Tech and at Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
