California-based American Principle Bank (APB) has appointed Thomas Beene as president and CEO after receiving confirmation of approval from the State of California Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Mr. Beene comes to American Principle Bank after serving as the president and CEO of Visalia Community Bank for the past 13 years.

Upon his appointment, Mr. Beene said: I have been following the progress of American Principle Bank since it opened its doors in late 2007. Given the impressive growth and the early profitability the Bank has achieved, I am very excited about becoming a part of American Principle Bank’s management team.
