London-based Amias Berman, an agency broker and fixed income capital markets advisory and origination company, has received UK regulatory approval for its international business – reported Reuters.
The company is expected to commence its operations immediately. Amias Berman’s Hong Kong-based sister company is waiting for approval from Securities and Futures Commission there.
Jeremy Amias and Charlie Berman, founders of the firm, are expected to cover all major fixed income asset classes, but it will primarily focus on structured credit, ABS and regulatory capital for financial institutions.
Amias Berman is an independent, global fixed income agency brokerage, execution, advisory and origination firm. The company’s primary objective is to provide independent advice and execution for institutional, public sector and corporate market participants, who are investing, trading and issuing fixed income instruments in the global bond markets.
