APAX, a global provider of electronic payment and risk management solutions, has expanded its services to Latin American and Caribbean market services by opening an office in Panama city. The firm aims to meet the demand for its credit card processing and electronic payment products from merchants in that region.

It has stated that the Panama office is going to offer card processing and electronic payment solutions to merchants selling mostly digital goods online in that region.

Peter Arnold, CEO of APAX, said: “Panama and Costa Rica have become a hub for those merchants. It is a logical step for APAX to open an office in that region in order to better service our customers.”
