Proctor is expected to leave the board in the first quarter of 2012 to take up a position of executive general manager at Commercialbank of Qatar.
Proctor, who has been with the ABG for 3 years, joined the firm from Citi where he managing director of wealth management and retail banking for Citibank & Egg in the UK.
ABG chairman and CEO Henry Angest said Dean Proctor made an outstanding contribution to the Group throughout his time at Arbuthnot Latham. The progress of their private banking business over the last three years has been excellent.
"Dean Proctor’s management skills are exceptional and I am sorry to see him leave. His leaving to pursue his career elsewhere in the world is to me a further example of the danger of not maintaining a strong enterprise culture in the UK," added Angest.
