UK-based wealth management firm Atomos has named Andy Greenwood as national head of financial planning.
Greenwood will report to Niral Parekh, managing director of financial planning.
He will oversee adviser development, proposition delivery, business performance, and client outcomes.
He is based in Manchester and joins from Rathbones.
In his most recent role, Greenwood led national advice delivery and managed advice teams and business integration activities.
Greenwood was quoted by FT Adviser as saying: “Atomos is an ambitious business that has already made huge strides towards its goal to becoming a leading UK financial planning business.
“I look forward to working with colleagues to build on the progress already made, supporting advisers and helping deliver a first-class service for clients as the business continues to grow and integrate new firms.”
Before Rathbones, Greenwood spent more than 25 years at NatWest. His roles included leading financial planning teams and advice delivery across several regions.
Atomos CEO Jonathan Polin said: “Andy’s appointment represents an important step in the continued evolution of our financial planning business as we bring together our regional offices, hubs and acquired firms into a single, high-performing national organisation.
“Andy has a strong track record of leading financial planning businesses and first-hand experience as an adviser.”
Atomos is an integrated wealth management company headquartered in London and Bristol, with regional offices across the UK.
