Union Bank said that a single leadership structure will be formed in partnership with BTMU/Americas to coordinate shared capabilities and the expertise of each company to increase market share in North America.
The banks also outlined new organizational structure to help realize the full potential of the combined BTMU/Americas-Union Bank customer base, brand, and products, as part of BTMU’s global transactional banking initiative.
Senior executive vice president and head of Global Treasury Management Group at Union Bank JoAnn Bourne has been appointed to lead the initiative, effective immediately.
Bourne will be responsible for guiding initiatives to manage and stimulate growth at both Union Bank and BTMU/Americas. She will oversee business strategies and goals and manage integrated sales, customer service, and product strategies.
In addition, she will assist in establishing a new transaction banking organization within BTMU/Americas that will provide deposit and treasury services to US and Asian corporate clients.
Bourne will continue to serve as head of Union Bank’s Global Treasury Management Group (GTM), responsible for multiple product lines including global treasury products, international trade, trust, custody, and eCommerce.
