In 1937, the Caisse de Retraite was set up to provide the country’s senators with a pension upon retirement.

The French banking group’s securities business in Brussels worked closely with another entity of the BNP Paribas group – BNP Paribas Fortis Public Banking – to secure the contract with the Senators’ pension fund.

BNP Paribas said this prestigious new mandate will enhance its underpin the reputation of BNP Paribas Securities Services institutional investors.
