The office will begin operating this year and will offer its asset management and private equity expertise to clients and business partners across the globe, who wants exposure to Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
It will also provide financial advisory services, including capital raising, strategic project financing and direct proprietary investments, to local companies.
Cedrus Investments’ Chairman, Rani Jarkas said the firm is excited at the prospect of being on-the-ground in Jakarta, working with our local partners, and helping the local community to facilitate even greater economic, trade and investment flows between Indonesia, Greater China and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
"Having a representative office in Indonesia will also enable Cedrus to more effectively identify investment opportunities and better manage the deployment of proprietary capital to projects that are in its fields of expertise and of particular relevance to Indonesia, specifically energy, natural resources and agribusiness," Jarkas said.
