Central Payment Corp (CPC), a California-based provider of transaction processing services, has selected ControlScan, a Georgia-based provider of PCI compliance and security solutions to small businesses, to provide Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance services to its small merchant portfolio.
Reportedly, CPC merchants will have an access to ControlScan’s PCI 1-2-3 compliance solution, available online via a its web-based merchant portal. The company has said that it provides merchants with the tools and support necessary to analyze, remediate and validate PCI compliance, including: PCI 1-2-3 Self Assessment Questionnaire; PCI 1-2-3 Vulnerability Scanning and PCI 1-2-3 Security Policy Builder.

PCI DSS is the payment card industry security requirement for all entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data, and it has been endorsed by Visa, MasterCard Worldwide, Discover Network, American Express and JCB.
