Commenting on the ATM sharing agreement, Aysenur Hickiran, head of sales and alternative distribution channels, GCG at Citibank, said: We are very pleased to be making this co-operation in joint ATM use with Akbank.
At the outset, the opportunity for Citibank customers to benefit from Akbank’s more than 1,600 ATMs in all corners of Turkey will provide convenience for them. In the forthcoming period, both the banks will continue to make cooperation in products and services that will provide benefit for their customers, Mr Hickiran added.
Cem Muratoglu, head of marketing, consumer bank for Akbank, confirmed that the banks plan to expand their co-operation agreement, which has been formalized with the joint ATM use, to their other banking operations.
