Chatakanonta will replace Mark Parsley, who has been appointed as head of EMEA Trading for Interest Rates Derivatives based in London.

Based in Thailand, Chatakanonta will be responsible for overseeing Thailand’s Fixed Income Markets business, including foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, debt & credit markets, commodities and treasury.

He will report to Thierry Hebraud, senior country officer for Thailand and to Graham Williams, head of Fixed Income Markets for Asia ex-Japan.

Chatakanonta has more than 16 years of experience in fixed income markets business in Asia. Previously, he worked at Standard Chartered as head of Rates Product for South East Asia in Singapore. Before that, he spent nine years at HSBC, where he held various trading roles in Treasury and Capital Markets in Thailand.
