The company is offering both electronic money and payment services through card issuing, BIN sponsorship and payment card acquiring.

Euronet Europe EFT Division executive vice president and managing director Nikos Fountas said the company is offering its customers with an opportunity to provide solutions to their clients without any up-front expenditures.

This allows them to protect, develop and evolve their business and market share with speed and security, Fountas added.

The company is positioned to issue cards and process transactions across the entire European Economic Area (EEA), by passporting the e-money license across the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) territory, excluding Monaco.

Being a member of MasterCard Europe, the company is able to issue open loop products throughout the SEPA region containing MasterCard, Maestro and Cirrus brands.

Euronet’s prepaid card services standard features include the support of physical and virtual cards, for one-time, gift card or reloadable use, while contactless functionality is also supported by MasterCard Paypass.

Its global payment network comprises 17,600 ATMs, nearly 67,000 EFT POS terminals and a growing portfolio of outsourced debit and credit card services which are under management in 38 nations.
