The investment firm plans to partner with both established and promising next generation start-up companies primarily based in Northern Ireland.
Beginning in early 2011, Lough Shore Investments will initiate the first wave of investments.
Moore said that in addition to the initial fund, he plans to bring significant foreign investment to the Northern Irish economy through Lough Shore Investments. This effort will initially centre on attracting substantial US investment.
Moore said: "Our mission is to invest in high potential management teams and partner with them to build great businesses. Our goal is to bring ten great companies to exit or IPO by 2025.
"In the months since the inception of Lough Shore Investments we have received a great deal of interest from US funds in particular. We will be vigorously pursuing these leads in the coming months," Moore added.
