According to the company, the branch blends an open floor plan and concierge approach to member assistance with current technology to ensure visitors enhanced level of personal service.

The teller line has been replaced with service pods. Two touch-screen internet kiosks is installed to provide access to online services and have built-in scanners to allow users to deposit checks online.

A coin counter, free for members, lets users convert change into useable cash. The ATM vestibule opens directly into the branch during business hours, secured with a glass wall after business hours to provide 24-hour access to cash.

Hanscom FCU chairman of the Board Paul Marotta said that Hanscom has eliminated the guesswork. Visitors no longer have to choose between a teller or a member service representative. They stay with the same staff person until their business is complete.
