HSBC has appointed Steven Lotito as head of sales, trade and supply chain for the US. Based in New York, he reports to William Nowicki, head of trade and supply chain – North America.
Reportedly, Mr. Lotito will be responsible for working with the bank’s commercial and corporate banking teams around the world to deliver information on international markets, financing solutions and service to help US clients navigate some of the important trade markets.
Mr. Lotito joins HSBC from the Australia & New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) where he was a director and head of transaction banking for the Americas responsible for developing and delivering the firm’s Asian capabilities to US customers.
Mr. Nowicki said: “Our aim is to support companies operating in North America, which are either sourcing from overseas or developing export markets for their products, with an international offering of products and services. Steven’s more than nineteen years of experience in the financial services industry and expertise in structured finance, risk mitigation and supply chain will be of great benefit to our current and future clients.”
Chris Davies, head of commercial banking for HSBC-North America, said: “The entire team will further enhance the manner in which we provide commercial banking clients access to our global network and trade and supply chain products and services.”
