According to Jefferies in addition to Cicero, seven other investment bankers will join the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group, including Jason Reid who joins as a managing director.
Cicero and Reid and the other new members of the financial institutions investment banking group will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Cicero has 18 years of financial institutions investment banking experience. He will join Jefferies from Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, where he spent 11 years and was a managing director in the financial institutions investment banking group and global co-head of banks and depositories.
Reid has 14 years of investment banking experience. He will join Jefferies firm from Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, where he spent 11 years and was a managing director in the financial institutions investment banking group focused on coverage of the banks sector.
