Bentinck brings nearly 15 years of investment banking experience to Jefferies and will join the firm from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a managing director and led the debt capital markets effort for depository institutions in the FIG capital markets & financing group.
Previously, he spent eight years at Lehman Brothers in their High Grade Syndicate Group in New York and London.
Jefferies global head of investment banking and capital markets Benjamin Lorello said the addition of Bentinck represents the logical expansion of its FIG business into the origination of debt capital markets products for our clients.
Jefferies global head of financial institutions investment banking Frank Cicero said that Caspar will work closely with its FIG coverage and capital structure advisory teams to assist clients in originating and structuring debt and hybrid capital transactions.
