Trusteer claims that when the bank’s customer will browse to sensitive websites such as internet banking, Webmail, or online payment pages using its web access services, the service will immediately lock down the browser and create a secure tunnel for safe communication with the website.
This will prevent malware from injecting data and stealing information entered and presented in the browser.
Trusteer also said that its service will also remove malicious financial malware it discovers on protected machines.
The service will be directly connected to the bank and to a 24×7 fraud analysis service.
Attempts to steal money from customers will be immediately detected by the bank and will be blocked using various layers of protection, claims Trusteer.
