In this role, Zelinski will develop and direct sales strategies to grow the MoneyGram’s market position and business among all sales channels, as well as its agent network in these regions.

Zelinski will brings over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry, including leadership positions in banks in Mexico City.

Prior to MoneyGram, he spent 10 years with Arlington, a Texas-based money transfer company DolEx Dollar Express, where he served in various roles including CEO, CFO, and vice president of sales.

MoneyGram said that the focus on growing business in Mexico will intensify simultaneously, under the expanded leadership of its Mexico regional manager, Robert Burford.

MoneyGram executive vice president of the Americas Dan O’Malley said that George will be an incredible asset to MoneyGram as it continue to refine the focus, grow the send and receive connections, introduce new products and develop relationships with agents in Central and South America and the Caribbean.

MoneyGram said it has a concerted effort to strengthen its business across the Americas and intensifying its focus on Mexico, specifically, under Robert Burford.
