MoneyGram senior regional director for the UK, Ireland and Nordics Mark Perryman said that the firm’s services is popular among US consumers and is attracting new customers who had not used a traditional walk-in service before.

MoneyGram provides its consumers a facility to create an online profile with saved information on individuals and businesses they send to regularly.

Customers using MoneyGram’s online service receive notification when funds are collected by their receivers, said the firm.

The system also calculates a transaction fee or locates a MoneyGram agent location in 192 nations and territories.

The company has protected its online transactions by incorporating market-leading fraud protection and monitoring systems for security and customer information.
