The Visa debit card, MyExpress Debit will protect members from overdraft or interest charges by enabling them to deposit and spend only what they need.
Mountain America member development and engagement senior vice president Dennis Bromley said that the card also provides a low-cost way for members to pay children’s allowance as well as educate them how to handle their money.
"Or members can use it as a travel card or for online purchases, minimizing risk if the card or number is lost or stolen," Bromley added.
"MyExpress was designed to be extremely versatile, giving our members another tool to help them and their families wisely and safely manage their money."
Multiple MyExpress Debit cards can be tied to a single account and requires no activation, maintenance, deposit or overdraft fees.
Additionally, the card enables members to access Mountain America’s Online Branch and Mobile Banking application to add funds anytime.
