In Charlotte, Mark Cantrell will join the firm as head of municipal secondary trading, Kyle Braddy as a new senior municipal trader, and Tom Ashcraft as an institutional municipal sales representative.
Cantrell will report into Piper Jaffray’s head of fixed income services Brad Winges and he will serve on the fixed income services operating committee.
Cantrell has more than 20 years of municipal securities experience, and most recently was the head municipal trader for BB&T Capital Markets.
Braddy was previously at Keybanc Securities, where he was a senior municipal trader. Ashcraft has more than 17 years of municipal sales experience. He was previously with BB&T Capital Markets.
In Cleveland, Kevin Barry will join the firm as a fixed income sales representative, focusing on public entities.
Barry has more than 12 years of experience, most recently focusing on public entities at Fifth Third Securities.
In Dallas, Andrew Swoger will join the firm as a fixed income sales representative, focusing on credit unions and banks.
Swoger also over 12 years of experience, most recently at Southwest Corporate FCU.
