<p>The Yorkshire mobile bank is the latest addition to the bank's existing fleet of 16 mobile banks, which collectively visit over 300 communities throughout Scotland, England and Wales. The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) also provides a flying bank service, serving communities in the Orkney Islands. <br /><br />The mobile banking service will offer the normal range of day to day banking services, such as cash withdrawals, ordering foreign currency and making bill payments. <br /><br />The launch of our Yorkshire mobile bank demonstrates how committed we are to providing banking services to our customers in their local communities, said Ewen Munro, managing director of RBS retail. We have been investing in the mobile banking service for 60 years and even provide a flying bank for the islands off the coast of Scotland. At a time when other organizations are closing branches, we still firmly believe that our branch network and services such as the mobile banks, are crucial for local people.</p>
