In this role, Fischbach will assume the capital markets responsibilities previously managed by Jonathan Clark, who was appointed CFO in January.
In addition, Fischbach will continue to manage the corporation’s rating agency relationships, said the company.
Fischbach has over 29 years experience in banking and financial services industry. Previously, he served as managing director at Residential Capital, and a senior vice president at MBNA.
Clark said their capital markets and treasury activities remain a critical component of their ongoing success. Ken’s appointment brings both continuity and expertise to the role, each of which will benefit the organization.
The company also announced that Steven McGarry, senior vice president, investor relations, will assume the additional responsibility for fixed income investor relations.
McGarry joined the company’s corporate finance team in 1997 and has led equity investor relations since 2003.
