US-based Sierra Central Credit Union has announced a partnership with Lumin Digital, selecting the company as its new provider for digital banking services.

This collaboration is set to equip members of Sierra Central with a range of digital tools that are both intuitive and secure, aimed at improving their financial health and providing a banking experience that is prepared for the future.

By adopting the cloud-native platform of Lumin Digital, Sierra Central is poised to implement quicker updates and roll out new features, ensuring minimal disruption to member services.

The platform is designed to provide a modern and continuous digital banking experience for Sierra Central’s members.

Initially established to serve military personnel, Sierra Central Credit Union has grown to manage assets worth more than $1.4bn for over 72,000 members.

It offers a wide array of financial services designed to meet the needs of its members in Northern California.

In June 2025, Lumin Digital collaborated with Chimney to refine the digital banking experience for homeowners. This initiative integrates Chimney’s MyHomeTracker solution into Lumin Digital’s banking platform.
