In his new role, Bukhowa will be responsible for the strategy, development and management of the Bank’s Head of Global Markets in Bahrain.
Bukhowa brings with him over 14 years of knowledge and international banking experience. He joins Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain from the Central Bank of Bahrain where he was the head of portfolio management.
Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain CEO Jonathan Morris said Abdulla’s appointment reaffirms Standard Chartered’s commitment to strengthening the treasury business and serving the needs of bank client base in the Kingdom.
"He will be a member on the bank’s Bahrain management committee which takes decisions on all aspects of the bank’s performances in the kingdom," Morris said.
