SPDR ETFs are an array of international and domestic asset classes that provide the flexibility to select investments that are precisely aligned to their investment strategy for the professional investors.
The new fund provides access to companies that benefit from the growth of emerging Asia’s middle class for the investors and tracks the performance of the S&P Asia Pacific emerging under $2bn Index.
The Index is a weighted benchmark that includes publicly listed companies with float-adjusted market capitalization between $100m and $2b.
As at 31 December 2011, the Index had 1,455 securities of countries that include China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand.
