In this newly created role, Dawal, former CIO of Wachovia’s wealth management business, will oversee investment strategy for all business units within private wealth management and institutional investment solutions.
He will report to Willem Hattink, head of private wealth management and institutional investment solutions.
Dawal has over 20 years experience in investment management. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and senior director of investments for Wells Fargo Wealth Management.
Prior to the Wells Fargo and Wachovia merger, he served as CIO for Wachovia’s wealth management business, a position he was named to in 2005.
